ABOUT EVERYDAY READY

Small steps, with
sources attached.

Everyday Ready turns general preparedness guidance into short, trackable actions. This early preview focuses on Digital Safety and Household Readiness. The initial edition is written in English and uses United States sources where the recommendation depends on local systems.

Evidence and review

Each checklist item shows its source, evidence label, applicable region, review date, and change history. “Official guidance” means the action is summarized from a government source; it does not mean the action is individually tailored or guaranteed to prevent harm. Items labeled “Limited” are practical suggestions and should not be treated as established scientific conclusions.

Content is reviewed as an ongoing process. If a source changes, the item should be checked and its history updated. Policies and location-specific emergency information must be confirmed with the relevant local authority.

The Life Check does not calculate a rating or rank people. It shows the steps you mark done, lets you skip items that do not apply, and keeps unfinished steps visible for your own review.

One household-supplies item is for mainland China only. Its source note distinguishes a 2020 list from a later national guidance update and flags the exact newer items for verification. Check current local authority guidance before relying on it.

Privacy

Without an account, checklist progress stays in this browser’s local storage. If you create an account, selected checklist statuses are also sent to a Supabase-managed database and linked to your account so they can sync across devices. These statuses can reveal personal security and preparedness habits. The guide does not store age, gender, or names. Export progress as JSON or sign out to clear the local browser cache; cloud records remain on the account. The current preview does not include self-service account deletion; account deletion must be handled by the site operator.

Educational information only

This guide is for general education. It does not provide personal medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice, and it is not a substitute for qualified professionals or instructions from local authorities. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
